Mr Augustine Akali
Mr Augustine Akali is a highly-educated and experienced medical professional, with over 20 years’ experience in the field of plastic surgery. In addition to extensive plastic surgery training in renowned units across the UK, Mr Akali also undertook a fellowship program in Microsurgery and breast reconstruction, at St. Andrews Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns.
Mr Akali’s private practice and admission rights are at Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital in Anlaby, and Goole and North East Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust. His NHS practice is at Castle Hill Hospital in Hull, and Goole and North East Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust.

Dr Gerry Purdy
Dr Purdy has worked as a Consultant Anaesthetist for over 20 years, and has extensive
experience in Plastic and Cosmetic Surgical anaesthesia. Dr Purdy currently works at Castle Hill
Hospital in Hull (NHS) and his private practice is at the Spire Hospital in Anlaby, where he’s also
the Director of the Hyperbaric Unit.
